Volunteers

Volunteers  form the backbone of our organization.   If you are interested in volunteering with us please see the opportunities available

  1. Tutoring – Good tutors have the power to influence the quality of a persons life by helping them acquire literacy skills that are important in today’s complex world. A little time, patience and encouragement are all it takes to help someone learn.You will be required to attend the Tutor Orientation, obtain a CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check.If you are interested in becoming a volunteer tutor, please fill our application form.
  2. Board of Directors – If you are interested in serving on our Board of Directors, please email a letter of interest with your resume attached to:info@tvla.ca
  3. Other Opportunities – If you are interested in other volunteer opportunities, such as helping with special events or assisting in admin/office activities, please email info@tvla.ca and tell us about yourself.
